Tusla is committed to providing a website that is accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of technology or ability. We are actively working to increase the accessibility and usability of our website and in doing so adhere to many of the available standards and guidelines.
The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) defines requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. It defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA. The Tusla website is not conformant with WCAG 2.1 level AA, in accordance with the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.1. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities. Conformance with these guidelines will help make the web more user friendly for all people.
As we carry out regular testing and accessibility auditing in order to ensure ongoing accessibility compliance on our website, we may become aware of certain areas/modules/templates on the website where we could improve in terms of accessibility.
