Birth Information and Tracing

Birth Information:

The new Birth Information and Tracing Act recognises the importance of a person knowing their origins and will give people access to information about their identity at birth. Access to the full release of the birth certificate, birth, early life, care and medical information is available for anyone eligible under the Act. Please click here for more information.

& Tracing Services:

The Act provides for a statutory tracing service and provides Tusla, Child and Family Agency with greater powers to search for, and identify persons sought through the tracing service. Please note this tracing service is free to anyone eligible under the Act. Please click here for more information.
