What will I know about the child before they are placed in my care?

We will provide you with as much information as is possible before any child is placed   in your care, so you can make an informed decision on whether or not you are likely to be able to meet the child’s needs. In some emergency situations we may only have limited information in the initial   stages, and as information is gathered it will be shared with you.
