Tusla – Child and Family Agency publishes Annual Report for 2016
27th September 2017 - Tusla – Child and Family Agency today publishes its Annual Report for 2016. The report outlines Tusla’s activities in its third year of operation during which the agency recieved 47,399 referrals to child protection and welfare services (an increase of 9%).

Tusla launches progressive national charters for children and young people
28th June 2017 - Tusla – Child and Family Agency today launched National Children and Young people’s Charters. Tusla worked with Dr Carmel Corrigan, and a group of children and young people to develop charters that reflect the views and preferences of children and young people. These groups were consulted on content, design and layout of the charters.

Tusla launches new Child Protection and Welfare Strategy
22nd May 2017 - Tusla – Child and Family Agency today launched its new Child Protection and Welfare Strategy for 2017-2022. The Strategy is a central part of Tusla’s on-going programme of transformation and includes a new national approach to practice, the Signs of Safety, which will ensure that all staff will engage with children and families using one consistent approach.

Reporting of child protection concerns
15th May 2017 - Following last week’s Ransomware cyberattack, the HSE and Tusla have taken a number of steps to protect their joint ICT systems. All external emails have been blocked since Friday evening as a precautionary measure while security work is undertaken and staff currently have no access to emails.
