Tommy* and Paula* are looking for a nurturing foster family who can offer plenty of safety, stability, and individual supports.

The siblings share a strong bond and ideally would be able to stay together and maintain this relationship.

Tommy* is an energetic and affectionate 4-year-old little boy who loves being outdoors and thrives when he is active and on the move. He enjoys being part of family activities and benefits from the comfort and security that these relationships provide.

Paula* is 9 years old, she is a kind little girl who likes to lighten situations with humour. She loves experimenting with hair and makeup and takes pride in expressing herself creatively. Like Tommy, she enjoys being active outdoors whether riding her bike, visiting the playground, church, baking treats or practising gymnastics moves.

Maintaining connections with her birth family is extremely important to her sense of identity, security and wellbeing. She can be cautious and hypervigilant of people, often taking time to assess new situations and people before feeling comfortable. She benefits from adults who are patient, understanding and able to build trust at her pace and had built good relationships with her teachers and SNAs.

Tommy and Paula require foster carers who can provide warmth and reassurance while also maintaining clear, firm boundaries and expectations.

They would do very well in the countryside with lots of space to play and a placement in Galway would be preferable.
