Joseph McEntee begins by describing how he and his brother went to live with his foster carers on his 7th birthday and how the experience has been a positive one for all involved.

Majella Hartnett describes how her life changed on June 15th 2000, when she was passed as a foster carer. Shortly afterwards, a little boy was placed with Majella, who she says has made them so happy and everybody is mad about.

Maurice Murphy, Social Worker for Tusla Fostering Services talks about why children come into care and who can apply to become a foster carer.
