A National Webinar with Dr Bruce Perry, hosted by TUSLA in collaboration with Atlantic Technological University. 

What if we could develop a shared way of understanding the children and young people we meet across ages, roles, disciplines and services? 

Every child and young person develops within a web of relationships and experiences. From pregnancy and the earliest parent infant relationship, through childhood and into adolescence, experiences shape the developing brain and nervous system. Understanding this can help us look beyond what a child is doing and become curious about what may be happening within and around them. In this national webinar, Dr Bruce Perry will bring us on a journey through exploring the developing brain, stress and regulation, relationships and connectedness, and what these can teach us about supporting children, young people and families. The webinar offers an opportunity for people and services working across and within Tusla to come together around a shared developmental and relational understanding of the child.
