Tusla’s Separated Children Seeking International Protection Service is recruiting social care workers, social workers family support practitioners.
The team for SCSIP is a national Tusla service that responded to 600 referrals in 2022. Based in Dublin the work involves direct work with unaccompanied minors, liaison with Immigration authorities, engagement with NGOs and offers the opportunity to support this vulnerable yet resilient cohort of young people. The posts provide opportunities for direct work with young people and involves supporting them through assessment processes, helping with their new accommodation and placement planning, and also with their international protection application and assisting them with settling into Ireland.
