Tusla - An Ghníomhaireacht um Leanaí agus an Teaghlach - Child and Family Agency

Suppliers and Vendors

The IFMS (Integrated Financial Management System) is a project within the HSE’s Finance Reform Programme, which introduces a single national Integrated Finance Management and Procurement system throughout the Health Services. Tusla is included in this implementation, and IFMS will provide Tusla with standardised best practice finance and purchasing/buying processes within a new operating model.

IFMS will be rolled out on a phased implementation basis to all publicly funded health organisations, commencing with the first implementation group in July 2023, including Tusla and HSE East entities. Tusla will implement changes that may affect how current suppliers interact with the organisation.

What does this mean for you as a current supplier?

These are the changes you can expect with the new IFMS system:

  • There will be greater use of electronic documentation, e.g., invoicing, electronic purchase orders, etc.
  • Applicable service/goods providers will be set up on digital catalogues to enable self-service procurement by Tusla staff.
  • With the implementation of IFMS, all invoices for Tusla will be submitted to and managed by a centralised shared services team.

What support will be provided to you by Tusla?

The implementation of IFMS will bring about some fundamental changes to existing processes.  To guide you through this change, we assure you that training and support will be provided over the coming months. There will be a dedicated helpdesk, detailed FAQs, and user guides will be issued by email.

If you have any concerns or queries at this stage, you can contact ifms@tusla.ie
