Tusla Donegal in partnership with Foróige youth service and Tusla service users recently finalised production of a suite of short, animated videos to support young people to understand and participate meaningfully in their Child Protection Case Conferences (CPCC), child-in-care reviews, or Meitheal meetings.
The projects, which have all been created with the support of Tusla Child & Youth Participation seed funding, are now all available on the Tusla YouTube page for practitioners to use in their work with children and young people.
Each video was created with input and the advice of children and young people who had experience of being involved with Tusla services and had participated in one of these meetings.
The young people involved also narrate each video, highlighting key pieces of advice for any young person who may have a conference, review or meeting coming up.
