Tusla wishes to congratulate young people on receiving their Leaving Certificate results today.

Tusla – Child and Family Agency wishes to congratulate young people in care/ who have previously been in care on receiving their Leaving Certificate results today.

Speaking about the important milestone, on behalf of her team, Linda Creamer, A/ Chief Operations Officer, Tusla said: “Receiving Leaving Certificate results is a huge milestone for young people around Ireland, and today we want to recognise this significant achievement for the young people we currently work with, and those who we have previously worked with. We would also like to acknowledge the work of foster carers, their families and all those who have supported young people to reaching this day.”

We wish them all the best as they move into the next phase of their life and prepare for future studies and future careers.”

Sometimes children and young people can’t live at home with their parents, for a wide range of reasons and where a child or young person comes into care, social workers develop a care plan which places an emphasis on the importance of education.
