Tusla – Child and Family Agency welcomes today’s publication of the Adoption (Information and Tracing) Bill 2016. It is a positive and important step for adoptees seeking their personal information and identity.
The publication of the Bill today does not bring about any immediate changes to current arrangements. Birth mothers and fathers, adopted people, or anyone affected by or concerned about the publication of the Bill can contact their local Tusla adoption team for support and advice.
