Respite care for Lucas

Lucas* is a pleasant and energetic young boy who is 12 years old. He enjoys lots of attention and affection from those he is close to, and in his free time he likes to play on his tablet and watch TV. Lucas very much enjoys swimming; however, generally, he is not interested in sports.

At times, Lucas can display some behavioural issues, however he is learning to manage his behaviours and is being supported in this. Lucas would do well with carers who were calm and who could set clear boundaries. 

We are seeking a respite placement for Lucas for two weekends a month. Carers in the Midlands and surrounding areas with no other young children would be best suited to care for Lucas.
