Lara* is a ten-year old girl, who loves to sing, dance, get dressed up, and be creative. Lara has been placed with her long-term foster carers since birth and has settled well into her family and community. A placement in Galway or close to Galway would be best suited to Lara so she can remain connected to her family and school. Lara is funny and clever, and good company. She has a small dog whom she loves, takes care of, and is affectionate with. She takes great interest in outdoor activities or going places. When she is indoors, she enjoys playing on her tablet. She likes to be creative and take videos of her singing or dancing. Lara is curious and likes to ask questions and be part of the conversation. Lara struggles with her emotions and regulating her feelings which can lead to emotional upset. She also is dealing with some attachment issues. Lara would do well in a home with older positive role models, teenagers or adult children. Lara would benefit from having an empathetic carer, who can help support her to manage her emotions.
