Emma came into care when she was five days old and was in foster care until 2023 when she moved to a respite placement in residential care. Emma has formed strong bonds with the staff in her respite care and she takes direction well. She is very sociable and loves interacting with people. Emma is learning about waiting and taking turns and she has significantly improved.

Emma likes going shopping and choosing new clothes and has very specific ideas about her fashion. Emma likes to have several types of shoes to choose from and enjoys her time getting dressed.

Emma really enjoys going to school and the school has said she continues to thrive and is making so much progress. Emma communicates very well, using some words, gestures and her Picture exchange book. She is very clever and will assist people in communicating with her by taking staff by the hand and showing them what she wants.

Emma has massive potential and is a wonderful young girl who will thrive with support from loving and supportive foster carers. Foster carers in the Greater Dublin Area would be best placed to care for Emma.
