WRC Pay Agreement (2024 to 2026)

An agreement was reached at the Workplace Relations Commission (WRC) to fund Community & Voluntary (C&V) sector employers for a 9.25% pay increase to their workers – an increase equivalent to the current Public Sector Agreement 2024-2026. 

The pay terms are backdated to start from October 2024 with implementation over a two-year period to the end of 2026:

  • 2.25% on 01 Oct 2024
  • 1.0 % on 01 April 2025
  • 2.0% on 01 Nov 2025
  • 2.0 % on 01 April 2026
  • 2.0% on 01 Oct 2026

Tusla is responsible for securing and providing the additional funding required to Section 56 organisations to meet the costs of the WRC pay agreement. 

Implementation of the WRC agreement

Under the terms of this WRC Agreement, Tusla funded employees of in scope Section 56 organisations are entitled to a potential c. 9.25% increase in pay spread across 5 tranches between October 2024 - October 2026, and the purpose of this WRC agreement claim form is to provide Tusla with the requisite information to calculate and pay the first three tranches of that payment, namely the 2.25% increase due from 1 October 2024, the 1% increase due from 1 April 2025 and a 2% increase due from 1 November 2025.
