A Loving Foster Home Needed for Barry* – A Joyful 4-Year-Old Ready to Blossom

We are seeking kind-hearted foster carers to provide a nurturing and stable home for Barry*, a bright and cheerful 4-year-old whose smile truly lights up every room he enters.

Barry is a delightful little boy who has made incredible progress since entering care. While he’s still catching up on some developmental milestones, he’s now using more words, singing nursery rhymes, and engaging warmly with those around him. He has a special love for alphabet puzzles and outdoor play—his curiosity and joy are contagious!

Barry thrives in a calm, predictable routine. He enjoys cuddles, tickles, and music, and has recently started creche, where he’s beginning to interact with other children and explore new activities. Like many toddlers, he can become upset when transitions happen—especially when it’s time to come inside—but he quickly finds comfort with his bottle, dummy, and blanket.

Despite managing asthma with daily medication, Barry remains a happy, affectionate, and resilient little boy. He’s looking for foster carers who can offer him the love, patience, and encouragement he needs to continue growing and thriving.

To support you in this important role, an enhanced fostering payment and a tailored therapeutic support package will be provided. This includes therapeutic parenting training, trauma-informed workshops, and other supports designed to help Barry settle and flourish.
