A caring home for Annie*

Annie* is a kind and bright 14-year-old girl who came to Ireland from Ukraine following the outbreak of the war. She enjoys horse-riding, beauty and makeup, going out for food and watching movies. She is very capable and does well in school, despite English being her second language. She aspires to go on to third level education once she leaves secondary school.

Annie would ideally like to live in a home with Russian speaking foster carers, if possible, or foster carers who are from a similar part of the world and who may have shared cultural background. A placement in Limerick or the Midwest region would be preferable but all locations in Ireland would be considered once the foster placement met Annie’s needs.
