Tusla - An Ghníomhaireacht um Leanaí agus an Teaghlach - Child and Family Agency

Third-party Service Providers

From the 01st August 2025, Tusla is launching a new system for the approvals and set-up of new and existing third-party vendors. A third party is a separate entity outside of Tusla (i.e. not a service, function, area).  These may be:

  • A private sector service provider.
  • A section 56 commissioned service provider.
  • A government department.
  • A public or statutory body or agency.

Tusla employees or those who are seconded or released to Tusla, cannot be considered third-party service providers.

Within Tusla, there are two main categories of third-party service providers:

  • Suppliers of Business Support Services.
  • Providers of services to children and families.
