The Mid-West is a welcoming place to work with 22 offices spread across the three counties. In the Mid West, we have a well-established, experienced management team who are committed to promoting continuous professional development for all staff to ensure best practice and policy implementation across all levels of the area. There is a dedicated team of experienced practitioners /managers who provide formal and informal support, in additional to structured supervision. The Mid-West is committed to providing a safe workplace which is underpinned by the promotion and adherence to health & safety legislation, a workplace where individuality and difference are supported and where dignity at work is promoted across all levels.

The Mid-West is served by Bus Éireann, the national bus company that operates regular services to and from major towns and cities.

The Mid-West has good rail connections with frequent services between major towns and cities. Limerick city, the largest city in the region, is a hub for rail services to Dublin and other major cities in the country.

Shannon Airport, located in County Clare, is a regional airport that offers connections to major cities in Europe and North America.
