Mary* is a bubbly, outgoing six-year-old girl who is bright, friendly and kind.  Despite the challenges she has experienced in her short life to date, Mary is kind, friendly and bright. Like many little girls her age, Mary loves unicorns and adores anything pink and purple. She  enjoys singing,  dancing, painting, drawing and being creative.  Mary is in good health and independent in  her self-care.

Mary currently lives in Waterford where she has many friends and is well liked by her school teacher and peers. She loves school and learning and has strong reading skills. Occasionally, Mary finds it difficult to manage big feelings and emotions and, when this happens, uses her comfort pillow to self-sooth.

Mary needs a patient and understanding foster carer who can assist with her needs and help support and navigate safe peer relationships. Mary will need support around learning how families work, as if she were a younger child. While a foster carer in the southeast of the country would be ideal for Mary, this is a nationwide appeal.
