Niall* is a happy, energetic young boy of early primary school age, who enjoys physical activity, animals, and being creative through dance and signing. Niall has a large family in the South West of the country, with whom he has regular contact.

Niall would benefit greatly from a home environment where he could grow and develop as part of a family. Carers that are flexible, understanding, accepting of different cultural and ethnic needs, and who are able to give consistent love and attention would be best suited. Niall enjoys one to one attention and would be best suited to a home with no other young children his age.

It would be of great benefit for potential carers to have a knowledge and understanding of trauma and the meaning behind challenging behaviour. Niall is currently being supported in managing behaviour and implementing coping mechanisms.
