Mary* is a kind and caring 17-year-old young mother from Wexford and has been in care since August 2024.

Mary visits her baby every day and looks forward to her weekly overnight visit to her mother at the family home in county Wexford.

A thoughtful person, Mary enjoys her own company and takes pleasure in artistic pursuits, watching television and self-care.

Despite her challenges, Mary thrives in a structured environment and consistently meets expectations.

Mary needs a foster care placement close to her family with a caregiver who can provide the understanding and support she needs as she develops her independent living skills, and who can assist Mary with her daily visits to see her baby.
