Critical Incident Plan Toolkit
A Critical Incident Plan Toolkit was created in collaboration with twelve partners in the childcare sector as a resource for childcare services in 2012.The purpose of the toolkit is to address basic emergency planning and response for a range of childcare emergencies. The aim of the toolkit is to create a sample critical incident response policy and procedure for childcare services allowing providers to have the capacity to respond appropriately in the event of a critical incident; to return to normal as quickly as possible after the incident and to limit the effects of the incident on children; families; staff/committee and any parties affected by the critical incident.
