Investing in Children
The Investing in Children Membership Award™ recognises and celebrates examples of imaginative and inclusive practice. Investing in Children members are those services that can demonstrate a commitment to dialogue with young people that leads to change. Tusla is working in partnership with IiC ™ to provide a quality assurance mark, ensuring that the collective voice of children and young people is embedded in rights based practice.
Full details of the awards achieved to date are available here.

How does it work?
Following the completion of a very simple application form called an evidence sheet, a Participation and Partnership Officer will arrange a site visit with you, to hear from the children and young people who use your service directly, to get evidence from them of dialogue and change. A report is drafted based on their evidence and returned to the young people for their approval. If the evidence is positive, membership is awarded.
Please see below links to the Evidence Sheet and information on additional initiatives such as Agenda Days. Don’t hesitate to contact your Participation and Partnership Officer with any queries.
