The young people will do a piece of art showing what their family means to them. This piece of art will be printed onto a tea towel by pixalili. All art work will be showcased on a washing line themed design to display for all family members to come and visit. The children get to take their keepsake home to share with their families.

The workshop will be A.C.E focused i.e. the adult, child and environment impact on a child or young person’s behaviour. Interventions to manage challenging behaviours will be discussed and there will be an opportunity for questions.

Myth Busting - facilitated by Paula Leonard, the National Lead Community Action on Alcohol - exploring the myths that exist around alcohol use and ways to support parents to parent assertively, with knowledge and confidence around these issues.
Alcohol and the Teenage Brain - facilitated by Dr Helen McMonagle - Psychologist and Alcohol Related Brain Injuries Rehabilitation Coordinator - exploring the reconstruction of the brain during adolescence and the impact of alcohol upon the brain at this vulnerable time.
