On-call Social Worker Emergency Out of Hours Service

Tusla is seeking expressions of interest from suitably qualified staff for the role of on-call social worker in the Emergency Out of Hours Service (EOHS).

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants are required by the closing date to be in direct employment with Tusla - Child and Family Agency or the HSE and on application have the following:

  • Working knowledge of SWIS and how it operates within the provision of Social Work Services
  • Strong computer skills with a working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and email system
  • Requisite knowledge to carry out the requirements of the role

The purpose of the post is to provide IT support to all users in DNE/DML Areas that currently operates Social Work Information System (SWIS) during the implementation phase of NCCIS in those Areas and to work as part of the current support team.

Principal Social Worker - Dublin North East

Eligibility Criteria

Each candidate must have at the latest date of application, be a direct employee of Tusla – Child and Family Agency or the HSE and must:

  • Be registered in the Social Workers' Register maintained by the Social Workers Registration Board at CORU;
  • Maintain live annual registration on the Social Workers' Register maintained by the Social Workers Registration Board at CORU;
  • Have five years' relevant post-qualification experience;
  • Have the requisite knowledge and ability (including a high standard of suitability, professional and managerial ability) for the proper discharge of the duties of the office.
