On April 7th 2016, Tusla Educational Welfare Services held a conference entitled ‘Bridging the Gap between Education and Child Welfare’ in the Mansion House, Dublin for invited guests and EWS staffs and personnel including School Completion Programme Co-ordinators and Home School Community Liaison Co-ordinators.  

Patricia A. Graczyk, PhD, Assistant Professor of Clinical Psychology in Psychiatry, University of Illinois at Chicago, provided two presentations at the conference:  ‘Bridging the Gap between Education and Welfare’ and ‘Multi-tiered Levels of Supports to Improve Attendance, Participation and Retention’.
